Screen Studio alternative · macOS
A Screen Studio alternative that also runs off Mac.
Lumen is a Screen Studio alternative for macOS on Apple Silicon and Intel - automatic zooms, a camera bubble and polished exports. When your next machine is Windows or Linux, the same product is already there.
Why Lumen on macOS
macOS, Apple Silicon & Intel. Full Mac support without locking your workflow to a single OS for the rest of the team.
Same polish, broader reach. If you outgrow Mac-only tools, you do not need a second recorder for Windows or Linux teammates.
Familiar recording flow. Pick screen or window, record, stop with ⌘⇧2, export a finished video with zooms baked in.
Install note. One-command install for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
How to get started
- Install on Mac. Run the macOS one-liner from the homepage for Apple Silicon or Intel.
- Record. Select a display or window, enable the camera bubble if you want it, and demo your product.
